28 weeks and Grandmother ultrasound fieldtrip!

my 28 week belly :)

Granny Ruthie and Lahlah showing some love

a little fuzzy- but its her sweet profile :)
We went in for our 28 week ultrasound.  At first we expected to not have anymore after the 18 week one, but Dr. Riggan said he routinely does one in the third trimester- which was fine for us!
Jeff's mom- now referred to as Lahlah :) was in town to help us with some house projects and to return the pups- they were at grandcamp during our mission trip.
We were so excited to get to have both Lahlah and Granny Ruthie to come to the ultrasound!
In preparation I drank WAY too much water, (I suppose to make up for the too little water I drank at the last one) and way very afraid of hvaing an accident on the table :)  TMI?  Thankfully after checking the essentials our ultrasound tech allowed to to go..." get rid of excess liquid cargo:)" and the rest of the ultrasound was MUCH more enjoyable.
I always cry- it is just so very special to get to see my little baby girl and not just imagine seeing her in my head.  She was doing well.  When we went back two weeks later (yes we are now on the 2 week schedule!?!) Dr. Riggan told us that everything looked on track- very good.  Eden measured in the 75th percentile- just a little above average.
We are really so grateful for an semi "boring" pregnancy.  We have friends right now dealing with abnormalities in ultrasounds, preterm contractions etc... We are so aware what a blessing it is to continuously get good "normal" reports from our Dr. visits.
