Weekend 2 of the Great Remodel (3/12-15)

I was able to work the first three days of last week and be at the house Thursday through Sunday to work. The end result was a lot of progress, extreme exhaustion, and full blown allergies for me :)

We had a different crew come help this weekend, and I think had a better time working... Maybe because of the beautiful little guy who come with them... maybe :)

My mom brought pizzas, Steve and Daniel brought tools and all their extra paint supplies, My sister Melanie, bro-in-law Josh, and awesome nephew Jack brought a car full of Jack's supplies, pumpkin choc. chip muffins, and every tool Josh could round up from his house

Our goals for this weekend were to
1.)get the ceiling in the back of the house spackled, sanded, and painted...
2.)to fully install all doors and screen doors




3.)paint the front door



4.)and pick out paint colors.




We were able to do tasks 1-4 above as well as
5.)paint the back bedrooms



6.)remove the wallpaper from the back bathroom


7.)pull up carpet and pad from the back of the house




8.)remove popcorn and sand and spackle the Master BR ceiling



9.)repair plumbing
10.)knock down the wall between the kitchen and utility room




11.) inspect dozens of engineered hardwood floor samples(and still not decide:)
12.)and go through 9 paint colors before settling on some. Thank you Sherwin Williams for sample paint!!!

Oh yeah, and celebrate my new baby neice Julia being born!

Now you can see why we are all tired...
