on the right, two honeymooners married less than two days... on the left, two still-newlyweds married a few days less than two years. it is really amazing to look back and see all that has happened in our lives these past two years. Some really awesome things, and some really hard things too.
as we set out for our trip i think that the Lord really re-defined the name of our blog. Jehovah Jireh is a name for God that means "God, my provider." Initially we gave our blog that name because we were facing a beautiful and tough time. We had just discovered we were pregnant and we unsure of our futures... but trusting that God would provide as He always had. after we lost the baby, we really had times of doubting that God did want the best for us...it took a while for us to trust that God had a perfect plan for our lives even when we experience such a difficult loss. and now, we are on a different path, one that God sent us down according to His plan, and although it has taken some difficult adjusting for us along the way, we now can see that He loved us then, and He loves us now.
even the day we flew out the Lord provided for us in more than one way... almost as if saying "I love you, enjoy time together, and remember that I have and will always take care of you." It was such a humbling and encouraging reminder of His love for us.
