Work Weekend with the parents

We had a HUGE treat- Jeff's parents Linda & Harroll came to visit us with the main purpose of helping us with the house and yard. It was a-maze-ing! We literally worked all weekend, until it got dark outside, or started to rain. We cleared beds, trimmed trees & bushes, weeded, and mowed. On Saturday we had rain and we painted the Master bedroom, installed all the new door knobs, rehung the frond storm door and installed a new light fixture outside. It was so wonderful to have so much motivated help to get things done. Harroll and Linda are possibly two of the most hard working people I know! After the weekend Linda decided to stay a bit longer and helped do the touch up painting and assorted other tasks we hadn't gotten to. We told them the next time they came to visit we would send them to the spa. :)

Unfotunately no one thought to take pics of the weekend- except when we had some visitors on Saturday- Jack brought Granny Ruthie and Mzee over for a visit. Here he's reading to Harroll...
