kaboom!!!

We just returned from Baghdad, Ky from our annual Kamp Kaboom Middle School camp. Our theme this year was "Treasure Hunt" and while jeff did his normal staff duties he also made appearances as "Skinny Squiffie" the pirate. I was a small group leader and girls' ministry person- which means lots of girl talk and lots of fun! Jeff was an amazing pirate and planned a really powerful late night worship time centered around the experience of taking communion.
Tomorrow we head out to Montana for a mission trip on which we will be.... doing another youth camp!!! :) at this point it feels like a really crazy thing to do- two camps in a row... but we are definitely excited about new places to see and people to meet next week. we'll be gone till next saturday- pretty sure some much needed rest will happen then! this is a pic from the week taken by our buddy zach!
