we have discovered a few treasures in our little area... the very best part of a staycation...
1. Possibly one of our coolest finds was here in good ole Gallatin- Gallatin Marina has a restaurant that is only open Memorial Day- Labor Day, only on Saturdays and Sundays and only for breakfast lunch... and apparently also dinner on Fridays. Their special was their eggs benedict followed by a close second with their belgian waffles- this is seriously a cool place, the ambiance was unbelievable...
2. putt putt- we tied... to both of our amazement- we may need to do a tiebreaker round soon...
3. Hendersonville Farmers Market was fun,
but Regina's store, Hendersonville Produce, is even cooler.. I love this lady and her store is adorable. She gets most of her produce from local farmers and everything else direct from the trucks. Very fresh, very yummy...
4. Tayst restaurant was wonderful. The jury is still out, but I think they may have the best creme brulee in Nashville... Along with being amazing because they use all of the local produce possible and are the only green certified restaurant in Nashville.
its just really cool to be married to my best friend and to enjoy spending time with him... this summer's been busy... so a staycation was definitely in order, something we will definitely do again- and we will bring our camera next time as well... :)
i should totally get commission off all of these props btw :)
